NEW DELHI: US ambassador to India Timothy J. Roemer Friday said President Barack Obama was "excited" about his trip to India in November and called the trip an "extraordinary" one.

CWG'10 to be biggest in terms of participation

New Delhi: Around 7000 athletes and officials including close to 600 Indians would take part in next month's Commonwealth Games here, making it the biggest in the history of the quadrennial sporting extravaganza in terms of participation.

IITs to enrol foreign students, offer medical courses

New Delhi: The Indian Institutes of Technologies (IITs) will induct foreigners as students and faculty and will also conduct medical courses, Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal announced today.
