To promote enthusiasm and interest in science among students, NSS College of Engineering (Palakkad) Alumni – Kuwait Chapter is organizing ‘Shaastrotsav – Festival of Science’ on Friday, 6th February 2009.
Who can participate? All Indian school students in Kuwait can participate in Shaastrotsav – Festival of Science.
Date & Venue: Shaastrotsav will be held on Friday, 6th February 2009 at American International School (AIS), Maidan Hawally.
Highlights:
• There will be many interesting and innovative programs related to science during Shaastrotsav. A science exhibition and science fiction writing contest for students are some of the main events.
• Dr. Prahlad Vadakkepat of National University of Singapore will present a Robotics Show for the first time in Kuwait.
• Dr. Jerome Kalister, a medical graduate who took to animation and industrial design will present ‘3D Indiana’ a digital human body which will be of great interest to students and medical professionals.
